Academy Trials for the 2023/2024 Season being held in June 2023

Weston-super-Mare AFC is hosting trials for their Academy sides following Promotion to the National League South.

Following the success of the first team and the improvement and development of Weston-super-Mare AFC’s Academy sides in the Junior Premier League this season, we are inviting players aged U7s to U16s to join us in the trials we will be hosting in June 2023.

The trial will be held in 2 stages, allowing players the best opportunity to impress our coaching staff and a chance to join our Semi-Professional Academy. The first stage of the trial will be a Training Session, taken by the Manager of the relevant age group. The second stage of the trial will be a Match Based Session with players, being given an platform to impress during a game scenario.

Our Academy play in the Junior Premier League, the highest level of football outside of the Football League Pyramid. Testing ourselves frequently throughout the season against Professional Academies, to monitor our progress as individual teams but also as an Academy.
