JOIN OUR ACADEMY: UNDER 9S LEAD COACH
Weston-super-Mare AFC Academy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced coach to take on the role of Under 9s Lead Coach.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about coaching young players and possesses the necessary expertise to guide and develop our under 9s team.
If you have a genuine enthusiasm for player development, along with the required experience and skills, we invite you to join our outstanding academy and make a significant impact on the growth of our talented young players.
Responsibilities:
Manage and coach the Weston-super-Mare AFC Academy Under 9s team.
Deliver high-quality coaching sessions to the team every Monday evening from 5pm to 6pm at The Optima Stadium, home of Weston-super-Mare AFC, throughout the football season.
Manage the team on match days, which take place on Saturday afternoons, and participate in the Junior Premier League central venue fixtures based in Bristol.
Help young players reach their full potential by providing expert coaching both individually and as part of a team.
Act as a valuable team player, sharing knowledge and best practices with fellow coaches.
Requirements:
Previous coaching experience is required
Hold a FA Level 2 coaching certificate
Possess experience in planning, preparing, and delivering team-based coaching sessions
Strong organisational skills to manage coaching sessions and match days effectively.
Display a professional and enthusiastic approach to coaching.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Passionate about promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and player development.
